The Workers' Union of Hindusthan National Glass & Industries Limited (HNGIL) has sent a letter to the Labour and Finance Ministries, accusing the appointed resolution professional, Girish Juneja, of acting in favour of certain vested interests.
The Union Leader has received several suicide threats from the workmen of the Puducherry unit and other units due to constant harassment and injustice at the hands of the Resolution Professional (RP). Therefore, it is humbly requested that the Hon’ble Union Minister and other concerned officials urgently address this matter," stated the letter addressed to Union Labour Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya.
The union's letter paints a grim picture of the current state of affairs at HNGIL. It highlights the dire working conditions faced by employees across various units, particularly emphasizing the situation at the Puducherry unit. The workers have reportedly been subjected to harassment and injustice under RP Juneja’s management, leading to severe distress among the workforce.
