Gigabyte has released the AORUS Z890 series motherboards. With the AI-enhanced D5 Bionic Corsa technology, this new portfolio seeks to redefine the standards for both enthusiasts and professionals.
The AORUS Z890 series is powered by the D5 Bionic Corsa, a collection of AI-driven technologies aimed at improving memory performance and signal optimisation. The motherboards offer DDR5 XMP at speeds reaching 9500 MT/s, thanks to AI SNATCH technology, which automates overclocking and offers stability and efficiency. Gigabyte's AI-driven PCB design lowers signal reflection by more than 28 per cent, resulting in improved performance across many levels, while the HyperTune BIOS further optimises performance through AI-driven memory tuning.
Gigabyte has prioritised user experience with this one, making the Z890 series one of the most DIY-friendly platforms available, as claimed. The WiFi EZ-plug, M.2 EZ-latch and PCIe EZ-latch Plus simplify the installation procedure, allowing customers to design systems with ease. The motherboards also have connectivity options like as PCIe 5.0, Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 7 and a high-speed 10GbE LAN for data transfers and immersive VR and gaming.
The company has released the AI TOP series to its Z890 lineup, which includes flagship models such as the Z890 AORUS XTREME AI TOP. These motherboards enable multiple graphics cards, Thunderbolt 5 and twin 10GbE LAN, making them optimum for demanding applications such as AI model training and gaming. Users can use the AI TOP Utility 2.0 to expedite AI training for multiple Large Language Models (LLMs), enhancing local AI capabilities on their PCs. The Z890 series motherboards will be available by the end of October 2024.
