Today, the field of design has evolved significantly. The way it's executed and perceived has advanced from being a minor component within large corporations, relying on just pencil and paper, to design-focused enterprises that prioritize design thinking in every phase, said Pradyumna Vyas, Former Director, National Institute of Design and Board Member of WDO.
While addressing the 'BW Businessworld Future of Design, Vyas said that business strategies depend on technology, management, and finances, and Businessworld Magazine has a really broad design on the strategic business and prophet."
He emphasised that the design standards in India are going very high, and it's time to showcase India's design capability to the world because as a big country, India has the responsibility.
Vyas shared four important aspects regarding the future of design: humanity and design, which explores how design can impact human beings; planet and design, which focuses on sustainability and how we can integrate it with technology; technology and design, which highlights how the design fraternity is going to make this place of creativity and emotions in the age of AI and Policy and design, which presents an opportunity to talk about the global policy framework.
