Creduce Technologies a climate-tech startup has announced the launch of its sustainability-focused blockchain token, KICHEE. The token is said to launch on May 31 this year, and its pre-launch sale will commence on May 10. As of now, it is stipulated 1 Crore KICHEE tokens will be minted. Creduce wants to facilitate individuals as well as businesses to adopt a carbon-neutral investment using the KICHEE token, which in turn will help curb climate change and global warming. As per estimates, one KICHEE token is equal to 100 kg of averted CO2 emission in a year.
The token is backed by audited projects which has provided certified credits. Credits would be generated from other projects such as water credits, plastic recycling, waste handling, among others. KICHEE coins can be used in metaverse, gaming, trading, gifting, barter, etc. The token, which will work on blockchain will be listed on exchanges such as , CoinSwitch, Coinbase, Opensea, Binance, WazirX, among others.
The startup was founded in the heart of the pandemic in 2021 by Shailendra Singh Rao and Vishwaraj Singh Rao. Creduce is primarily a climatetech startup that provides services in the domain carbon asset management.
