BenQ, a leader in display technology solutions, introduced the SW242Q monitor targeting photographers, videographers and other creative professionals. The 24.1-inch 2K display features BenQ's AQCOLOR technology delivering 99 per cent Adobe RGB, 98 per cent DCI-P3 and 100 per cent sRGB colour gamut coverage.
The BenQ SW242Q monitor is priced at Rs. 38,500 and is available in India. The monitor offers 16-bit 3D LUT, ΔE ≤ 1.5 colour accuracy and Calman Verified certification for industry-standard colour precision.
An anti-glare, finely coated panel enables accurate soft-proofing, allowing photographers to preview colours on-screen before printing. BenQ's third-generation Uniformity Technology calibrates colour and brightness across the screen to ensure colour accuracy. HDR10 support and compatibility with various video formats cater to the needs of professional videographers.
"The SW242Q monitor is an expression of BenQ's dedication to empowering creative professionals with cutting-edge solutions," stated Rajeev Singh, Managing Director, BenQ India and South Asia. "With its outstanding colour accuracy, anti-glare panel and efficient hardware calibration through Palette Master Ultimate, this monitor will enhance creative workflows and ensure industry-leading results."
In addition, the monitor offers a resolution of 2560 x 1600 with a 16:10 aspect ratio for detailed work. The SW242Q integrates with AJA and Blackmagic SDI devices through SDI connectivity. Hardware calibration utilises the new Palette Master Ultimate software for maintaining colour accuracy over time. Paper Color Sync facilitates colour matching between the on-screen display and print output.
Further, the SW242Q incorporates several user-centric features. A leatherette base securely places cameras and lenses, while an easy-carry handle enhances portability. Improved cable management ensures a tidy workspace and a five-way navigation key with a dedicated information button allows for efficient colour evaluation during retouching.
