<p>Bank of Baroda (BoB) on Monday (19 October) launched Chillr Mobile app that allows user to instantly transfer money to any contact in their phonebook.<br><br>Bank of Baroda has partnered with with Chillr, an app launched by MobME, a Kochi-based technology firm.<br><br>Chillr, a first-of-its kind application, is directly linked to the customer’s bank account and can transfer money to any person in India, once he/she downloads the app and registers.<br><br>K. Venkateswarlu, General Manager, Digital Banking, Bank of Baroda stated, “The app is presently made available on Android platform and will be made available on IOS and Windows platform shortly. Utility bill & Merchant payments on Chillr app will be enabled for BOB customers soon.<br><br>The sender selects the recipient from his contact list, enters the amount to be transferred and mPIN, and the receiver instantly gets the money in his bank account.
