Bajaj Electricals Honours Rajiben Vankar With 30th Jankidevi Bajaj Award For Sustainability

In a recognition of contributions to sustainable entrepreneurship, the Ladies’ Wing of IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with Bajaj Electricals, presented the esteemed 30th IMC Ladies’ Wing Jankidevi Bajaj Puraskar 2023 to Rajiben Vankar, Founder of Rajiben - Crafting a Better Planet. The award ceremony, held in Mumbai, featured the felicitation of Rajiben Vankar by actress and environmentalist Dia Mirza and Dr. Ashok Khosla, Chairman of Development Alternatives.

Rajiben Vankar has earned the award for her exemplary efforts in sustainable entrepreneurship, particularly her commitment to plastic up-cycling. Her brand, Rajiben - Crafting a Better Planet, has creatively transformed plastic waste into stylish bags and accessories, making a significant impact on environmental conservation. Through her initiatives, Rajiben has successfully removed over 3 million plastic bags from the environment.
