Yamaha YZF-R3 2018 Revealed; India Launch On Cards
Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Yamaha Motor Company has revealed features and specifications of upcoming Yamaha YZF-R3 2018, which is slated for February 2018 launch in the US.
The company has not revealed when the YZF-R3 2018 will come to other markets, including India. However, the bike stands good chance of being introduced in India.
The Yamaha YZF-R3 2018 will be available in three colours - Raven, Vivid White, and Team Yamaha Blue. It has been priced at $5,299/Rs 3.46 lakh (ABS - Raven & ABS - Vivid White), $4,999/Rs 3.26 lakh (Raven & Team Yamaha Blue).
The bike's technical specifications remain the same. It comes equipped with 321cc liquid-cooled, DOHC inline twin-cylinder; 8 valves engine mated with a 6-speed transmission.
Yamaha YZF-R3 2018 measures 82.3in X 28.3in X 44.7in, with 30.7in of seat height, 54.3in of wheelbase, and 6.3in of ground clearance.
This sport motorcycle was first introduced globally in 2015.
Currently in India, Yamaha Motor Company offers YZF R1 and MT-09 bikes as CBU, and rest are manufactured locally.
The domestic bikes include Fazer25, FZ25, YZF R15 Ver 2.0, YZF R15s, Fazer-FI, FZS-FI, FZ-FI, SZ-RR Ver 2.0, Saluto Disk Brake, Saluto, and Saluto RX.
