The World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos, scheduled from January 20-24, 2025, will spotlight the theme 'Collaboration for the Intelligent Age', with more than 100 Indian business and government leaders set to participate alongside global counterparts.
The high-profile event, expected to host nearly 50 heads of states and governments, will take place amid significant geopolitical and economic challenges, including the Ukraine conflict, the ongoing West Asia crisis, and a regime change in the United States.
India's Prominent Representation
India's delegation will feature Union ministers, civil society leaders, and top executives from leading business conglomerates like Reliance, Tata, Adani, Birla, Bharti, Mahindra, Godrej, Jindal, Bajaj, and Vedanta groups.
Prominent figures such as Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, and next-generation leaders from their respective firms are expected to be in attendance. Technology stalwarts including Salil Parekh (Infosys), Rishad Premji (Wipro), Sumant Sinha (ReNew), Vijay Shekhar Sharma (Paytm), and Adar Poonawalla (Serum Institute) will also represent India at the Swiss Alpine resort.
