Vivo plans to expand its line with the anticipated introduction of the Vivo T3 Ultra in India. Although Vivo is yet to formally introduce the handset, emerging details indicate that the T3 Ultra will be based on the recently released Vivo T3 Pro 5G, with considerable performance and feature upgrades.
The Vivo T3 Ultra is rumoured to be powered by Mediatek Dimensity 9200+ System-on-Chip (SoC), with up to 12GB of RAM, up from the T3 Pro 5G's 8GB standard. The smartphone is expected to include a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, providing an immersive visual experience with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.
In terms of photography capabilities, the T3 Ultra is said to have a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor, which is an upgrade above the T3 Pro's Sony IMX882. This is likely to be accompanied with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 16MP front-facing camera, which aims to enhance both photography and filming.
T3 Ultra is also expected to include a 5,500mAh battery with 80W fast wired charging, allowing for longer use and quick power replenishment. The smartphone is also believed to have an IP68 classification, which protects against dust and water infiltration.
The device’s improved features position it as a considerable upgrade over its predecessor, the T3 Pro 5G. The smartphone's characteristics, together with its sophisticated display and photography capabilities, are likely to position it as a strong contender in the competitive Indian smartphone market. However Vivo is yet to confirm the official release date.
