TVS Motor’s robust domestic growth in the ICE two-wheeler segment reflects an impressive 19 per cent increase, outpacing the industry’s 13 per cent rise. Meanwhile, the company has led the charge in the electric vehicle segment, witnessing a staggering 101 per cent surge in EV sales, significantly above the industry’s 32 per cent growth. This achievement highlights TVS’s leadership in shaping a future defined by high-tech, efficient, and intelligent mobility. Managing Director Sudarshan Venu’s optimism for this shift is clear: “EV sales will only go up...We believe that 25-30 per cent of TVS' (two-wheeler) sales will be EV (electric vehicles) in two to three years' time. We are investing to embrace that future and to launch exciting and aspirational products that will delight customers.”
Expanding Overseas
Beyond India, TVS has become a global brand, with operations spanning Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Europe. With manufacturing units in India and Indonesia and a presence in over 80 markets, the company is reinforcing its international footprint. In FY24, TVS marked a major milestone by entering European markets through a strategic partnership, bringing its premium EV and ICE models—including the Jupiter 125, NTORQ, iQube S, TVS X, Ronin 250, Apache RR 310, and Apache RTR 310—to France and Italy. This expansion not only enhances TVS's distribution network but also paves the way for further ventures into select EU markets, fostering brand recognition.
