The project on education, in India, is a delicate one that involves diversity with each child being unique in his or her faculties but at the same point in time, we try to provide him/her with the best of facilities with measures that are often more collective in nature, said Minister of state of education, Subhas Sarkar on Monday at All India Lions conclave held in Delhi.
Emphasising the importance of school education, Sarkar said, “School education is very important and in today's time must be critically thought upon. They aim to provide a holistic, quality education for students so that they can develop their minds, body and soul."
Stressing elementary education, MoS appreciated education at the foundational stage of growth, he said that the Framework for the National Curriculum for Foundational Stage on the lines of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is transforming foundational education under the dynamic leadership of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Sarkar also mentioned that The National Curriculum Framework (NCF) document has discussed in depth the opportunities that lay before us and the measures that can be taken to ensure a better approach toward elementary education.
Minister also told that NCF will provide a stimulating experience for the child’s development in all dimensions such social-emotional, cognitive and physical.
Sarkar assured that NCF will also enable the achievement of foundational literacy and numeracy for all our children.
MoS counted on some of the initiatives of Balvatika Classes of nipun, bal mela and vidya prakash providing appropriate care to stimulate their brain and support their physical and emotional development is essential for every child in Kendriya Vidyalaya.
