Trak N Tell, a Gurgaon-based automotive telematics firm, upgraded its app Watchman with a special vehicle secutiry feature in it for their Intelli7 customers across the country.
The app watchman launched last year to transforms one’s smartphone into an alarm clock so they can be informed about potential threats in real time, and take corrective action during nights. This has been upgraded to the next level, enabling tracking even through the day during weekends.
Pranshu Gupta, Founder & CEO, Trak N Tell said, “A recent statistics shared by the Delhi Police in July this year, till June 30; about 21,298 cases of motor vehicle thefts were reported. This included as many as 3,871 cars and 3,237 scooters. Such thefts are more likely when owners are away. We understand that our owing to daily hectic schedules, all of us are on the lookout for weekends, especially the long ones when we can take a day off to another city with our family and friends. A relaxing weekend can however turn sour if there is news of tampering/ theft of our vehicles parked in our houses’ vicinity. Also, when you’re travelling in your car, it can be a great help while the care is parked in hotels with minimal security.
Trak N Tell will notify its existing customers about this inimitable feature and they can avail this at Rs 10 per day by upgrading to the latest Android app available.
With the Weekend Watchman, instead showing an ‘Ignition On’ alert, the device will automatically convert into an alarm clock urging the user to take corrective action in case of vehicle tampering while the owner is away.
Ritu Gupta, Co-founder & COO, Trak N Telladded, “At Trak N Tell, we remain focused in ensuring the safety of both the passenger and their vehicles from any possible threat. With this ‘Weekend empower our customers with the option to monitor their vehicles while they are away holidaying or spending time with friends. This can quickly determine any potentialcase of car theft in real time while the owner is away.”
