Top Advances Of Box Office: Bahubali Tops The List, Sanju Is Fifth

Not just the Hindi movies, now the movies like Avengers Infinity War are also hitting the market with good revenues.

Race 3

Number 6 in the Race is the Salman Khan starrer Race 3. It is presently the fifth best all-time advances at the box office. But it is highly expected that Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju is going to break the records of Race 3.

The actor thriller Race 3’s success is Salman Khan’s stardom and also viewer’s expectations from the Race Franchise, though the movie was not appreciated by the audience as well as the critics, but the movie very smoothly managed to make a good business at the box office this year. The movie had a great occupancy rate of 55% in the early morning hours, which has been not bad at all, all this definitely combines for the Film’s collection. Had the movie got a good story, it could have reached much higher levels of revenue.

Sanju

The New position holder is going to be a Rajkumar Hirani’s film, Sanju, a swaggy copy of Sanjay Dutt played by none other than Ranbir Kapoor. It is highly expected that the film will very smoothly break all the records of Race 3 and even achieve more records.

It’s again the highly awaited film of the year and people are flocking to cinemas in large numbers to watch the movie.

Sanju is having the highest Average Ticket price ever being a Bollywood movie and it is the widest ever release for a young actor in Hindi Cinema, being released on 4200 screens.

Sultan 

Number 4 in the list is the movie which was nothing less than a storm at the box office. Sultan earned Rs 200 crore in just six days of its release. It proved to be an amazing movie for all genre of viewers. It even entered in the category of All Time Bollywood Blockbusters in merely a week on its release. 

As the name suggests ‘dhobi pachhad’, the movie did the same at the box office for a long time. The movie had the biggest opening day and weekend ever for Bollywood in the UAE-GCC and was the fastest to have collected $5M in only five days. Even in Pakistan Sultan had biggest opening day and weekend ever and a speed record to $1 million within three days on its release. UK and Ireland also had the top opening day and weekend ever, and Australia and New Zealand also set debut weekend records. 

Tiger Zinda Hai 

Next in the list is yet again a Salman Khan Movie. The movie broke many records at the box office, it earned Rs 45.53 crore on a single day which has been the highest single day earning for any Bollywood movie. The film crossed the mark of Rs 300.45 crore created by Sultan and became the Yash Raj Film highest grossing movie. In fact, Salman by this became the first actor for having three films in the Rs 300 crore club. Katrina also got a movie which surpassed her previous movie Dhoom 3’s record for being the highest grosser. Fans loved the chemistry between Salman and Katrina who came up together after a long respite. In fact, the film’s trailer broke the record, it became the first ever trailer to have had 100 million views in less than a day and also the first one to have got 1 million likes for any Bollywood film. 

Avengers - Infinity War 

 The movie hits number 2 in the list which just topped $900 million at the global box office within nine days. Disney reported that the Marvel Cinematic Universe Produced Film’s overseas collection has been the biggest industry opening day of all time and becoming the first movie to ever sell more than a million tickets in a single day. Just in one weekend, Infinity War crossed $1.5 billion (Rs 10,000 crore) global box office haul thus becoming biggest ever marvel movie. The movie even broke the records for the highest pre-release ticket sales for a superhero movie on online ticketing site, Fandango. Infinity War had the biggest opening days in South Korea ($39.2 million), Mexico ($25.1 million), Brazil ($18.8 million), the Philippines ($12.5 million), Thailand ($10 million), Indonesia ($9.6 million) and Malaysia ($8.4 million). The big thing to note is that the movie had a great collection in India as well and is being highly appreciated at the Indian market. 

Baahubali - The Conclusion 

The number 1 in the race is Baahubali 2 which has been unstoppable in achieving tremendous success not just in India but equally at the international market as well. When it comes to breaking records, Baahubali broke the record of becoming the first movie to have collected Rs 125 crore overall out of which Rs 41 crore are from the Hindi version surpassing all the records of any dubbed movie by a huge difference, it collected Rs 65.65 crore only in the US in its opening weekend. The film came out to be number 3 at the United States box office and stood behind Vin Diesel’s Fast and Furious 8 and Salma Hayek’s How to be a Latin Love. The gross business in the Indian market has been Rs 395 crore while the overseas business comes out to be $18-19 million in just three days which is exclusive of the previews, including them the film made a total of Rs 520 crore in the three days weekend only.
