Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has deepened its partnership with Google Cloud by launching two cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions aimed at bolstering enterprise cyber resilience across industries.
The new solutions, TCS Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and TCS Secure Cloud Foundation, are reportedly designed to enhance digital security for businesses by leveraging the combined strengths of TCS’s domain expertise and Google Cloud’s advanced technologies.
The TCS Managed Detection and Response solution, which is powered by Google’s Security Operations platform, is expected to reduce the time required by security teams to detect and respond to cyber threats. This enhancement is particularly relevant in the context of the growing influence of Generative AI, which has heightened the need for modernised cybersecurity measures.
Complementing this, the TCS Secure Cloud Foundation solution utilises Google Cloud’s security capabilities to fortify cloud security posture and governance across diverse cloud environments, including single, multi and hybrid clouds.
An application of the Secure Cloud Foundation has been its deployment by a global bank headquartered in Germany, where it automated the identification and enforcement of over 800 security policies, ensuring adherence to stringent regulatory compliance requirements.
In a statement, Nidhi Srivastava, Vice President and Executive Champion for Google Cloud, TCS, said, “Our deep industry knowledge, comprehensive portfolio, and ability to scale on Google Cloud enables us to rapidly create value for our customers.”
