The much awaited launch of Renault Captur is going to initiate a battle of SUVs in Indian passenger vehicle market. The other two big launches of 2017 – Tata Nexon and Jeep Compass, are going to be one of the participants in the war.
Renault Captur will give a competition to Tata Motors’ Nexon and Jeep India’s Compass.
Tata Nexon launched in September 2017, is Tata Motors’ fourth product based on the ‘Impact Design’ philosophy. It has been priced quite competitively at Rs 5, 85,000 for the petrol variant and Rs 6, 85,000 for the diesel variant.
The made in India Jeep Compass, launched in July 2017, will give tough competition to Renault Captur as they both belong to the same price segment vehicles. Jeep Compass has a starting price of Rs 15.16 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
Without going any further, take a look at all the three SUVs (Sports Utility Vehicles) in detail.
But before that, read on to some of the features which Renault Captur is going to offer. At the exterior, Captur features sparkle full LED headlamps, ripple tail lamps, sapphire LED DRLs, floating side indicators, and R17 crystal cut alloys.
The SUV is a result of Renault’s OneIntegration concept which aims to connect the car with the driver. In this regard, it comes equipped with auto AC with surround white illumination, intelligent ULC 3.0 with rear parking camera, smart access card, and infinity instrument cluster.
Renault will also offer two exclusive themed personalization packs for Captur – Diamond Deck, and Urban Connect.
