Reliance Power and Reliance Infrastructure, two flagship companies of the Reliance Group, have reconstituted their boards by elevating four senior executives to strategic positions. The move is in line with the group’s Vision 2030 Growth Strategy.
Ashok Pal, the Chief Financial Officer of Reliance Power, has been promoted to the position of Executive Director. Joining him on the board are Sachin Mohapatra, Whole Time Director and CEO of Sasan Power Ltd, and Harmanjit Singh Nagi, President of Corporate Development at Reliance Power, who have been appointed as Additional Directors.
In a parallel development at Reliance Infrastructure, Partha Sarma, President of Group Corporate Development, has been inducted into the board as an Additional Director.
The Reliance Group stated that the board restructuring is part of a broader strategy to ensure the companies are guided by innovative and energetic teams capable of achieving the ambitious goals set under Vision 2030.
