On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the groundwork for four new medical institutions in Rajasthan and opened the CIPET: Institute of Petrochemicals Technology in Jaipur. The new medical colleges will be built in the districts of Banswara, Sirohi, Hanumangarh, and Dausa.
According to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), these Medical Schools have been sanctioned under the government-supported plan for "Establishment of new medical colleges connected with district/ referral hospitals." According to the report, 157 new medical colleges have been sanctioned around the country as part of this three-phased programme.
According to the Prime Minister, the recently launched CIPET: Institute of Petrochemicals Technology, Jaipur will serve the desires of young people who wish to study parts of the petrochemicals and energy industries. Underserved, backward, and aspirational regions have been prioritized0 for the establishment of medical institutions.
PM Modi stated in his address that it is essential to swiftly expand the network of AIIMS institutes and super-speciality hospitals to every nook and cranny of the country.
“The world's health sector has learned a lot from the largest epidemic in 100 years... “Whether it is AIIMS, medical colleges, or even super speciality institutions like AIIMS, it is critical that their network spreads fast to every nook and cranny of the country,” PM Modi remarked.
