SuperGaming has officially introduced Open Beta for the Battle Royale Game, Indus. This release allows players to experience and test the game's features in its Indo-futuristic universe. The open beta is a critical stage in the game's development, providing a broader audience the chance to engage and provide feedback.
A key feature debuting with this open beta is the Grudge System. This new mechanism allows players to declare a Grudge against opponents who eliminate them in a match. The system then prioritises matching these players together in future games, creating opportunities for redemption. Players who succeed in eliminating their previous adversaries can earn valuable rewards, including exclusive cosmetics and in-game items.
Roby John, Co-founder and CEO of SuperGaming, emphasised the importance of this phase, stating, "The open beta for Indus Battle Royale is crucial for gathering feedback from a larger player base and refining the game. The Grudge System adds a unique twist to the gameplay, and we are eager to see how players interact with this feature."
Since transitioning from its closed beta, Indus has undergone several improvements aimed at optimising gameplay. The game has amassed over 12 million pre-registrations on the Google Play Store and is also available for pre-order on iOS through the App Store.
To access the open beta, Android users can download Indus Battle Royale from the Google Play Store or via a provided link. iOS users can access the beta version by installing the Testflight app from the App Store and following the invitation link to download the game.
Along with the open beta, SuperGaming is introducing the Indus Insiders 2 program. This initiative invites content creators and community members to collaborate with the development team, contribute content and engage with the game. Participants will receive in-game rewards, special event invitations, early access to updates and direct communication with the development team, aiming to enhance the connection between the game and its community.
