OnMobile Global Limited has reported its financial results for the second quarter of FY25, ending 30 September, 2024. The company saw a 4.7 per cent increase in revenue, with significant growth in its mobile gaming segment, which continues to drive overall performance.
For Q2FY25, OnMobile posted revenue of Rs 1,319 million, reflecting a 4.7 per cent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) growth. The company’s EBITDA for the quarter stood at Rs 18 million, representing a margin of 1.4 per cent. The mobile gaming segment showed a notable performance with revenues increasing by 27.3 per cent QoQ to Rs 322 million. The active subscriber base for mobile gaming also grew by 11.6 per cent QoQ, reaching 8.49 million in Q2FY25.
OnMobile's President and COO, Bikram Singh Sherawat, stated that the company is focusing on landing strategic transactions to further enhance its business. Radhika Venugopal, Global CFO, OnMobile stated that the company enjoyed a good quarterly sales growth of 4.7 per cent, which resulted in increased EBITDA margins.
The company’s mobile gaming expansion was aided by a new strategic agreement with DeOsphere. The alliance intends to improve gaming and network services by installing the DeOS Operating System, which includes streaming and edge computing capabilities. As part of the agreement, DeOSphere will lease at least 30 points of presence (POPs) from OnMobile to help deploy its Global Gaming and AI Edge Network.
