The opening of nine new medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh on Monday is a true memorial to all those who have died as a result of a lack of medical services since independence, said Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He said that from 1947 to 2016, just 12 medical institutions were established in the government sector in Uttar Pradesh, whereas 30 are being established during the BJP's control.
The Chief Minister praised the Prime Minister's introduction of the PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission in Varanasi on Monday, calling it a step toward a rebuilt healthcare infrastructure in the new India. "Prime Minister Narendra Modi's opening of medical institutions is a true monument to all those who have lost their lives due to a lack of medical facilities since independence." Furthermore, it would provide a guarantee that no innocent or residents will die as a result of a lack of care, Adityanath stated in Siddharthnagar.
These medical colleges will not only serve the current generation but also future generations, he said, adding that health-care reforms reflect the country's progress. The prime minister launched the Rs. 64,000-crore PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission from his parliamentary constituency Varanasi and inaugurated nine medical institutions from Siddharthnagar, providing a significant boost to health infrastructure.
"We will create more doctors in the next 10 to 12 years than we did in the first 70 years after independence," Modi said. The prime minister stated that the 'One Nation One Exam' was established to alleviate the young the stress of several admission tests across the country.
