OnePlus has introduced its latest flagship foldable phone, the OnePlus Open Apex Edition, which expands on the OnePlus Open line. The Apex Edition includes substantial improvements in storage, security and design.
The OnePlus Open Apex Edition has 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB of UFS 4.0 ROM, offering multitasking and more storage. The gadget includes an independent security chip approved for CC EAL5+ and an NFC security chipset for CC EAL6+ and EMVCo, which improves user privacy and security. This model has a VIP mode that, when activated via the Alert Slider, disables all microphones and cameras for complete privacy.

It has dual ProXDR displays with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, providing an immersive visual and audio experience. The phone features 67W SUPERVOOC flash charging for quick power replenishment. The smartphone runs OxygenOS 14.0 with Open Canvas and has a pleasant, customisable user interface.
In terms of design, the Apex Edition features the "Crimson Shadow" colourway, which draws inspiration from the traditional OnePlus red and the Hasselblad 503CW 60 Years Victor Red Edition. It has a luxury vegan leather rear cover with a diamond-like pattern, an orange accent on the Alert Slider, and a reflective CD design on the camera dial. The phone includes AI-powered picture editing capabilities like AI Eraser and AI Smart Cutout and is priced at Rs 1,49,999.
