Zoho and Tech Mahindra, two prominent players in the Indian technology landscape, have struck partnerships with Nvidia to enhance their software offerings through advanced artificial intelligence capabilities.
These collaborations will look to develop and deploy cutting-edge large language models (LLMs) tailored for business applications, leveraging Nvidia’s AI accelerated computing platform.
At the Nvidia AI Summit in Mumbai, Zoho revealed its plans to integrate Nvidia NeMo, a key component of Nvidia's AI Enterprise software, into its SaaS applications. With over 7,00,000 customers using its services across ManageEngine and Zoho.com, the company has committed more than USD 10 million to Nvidia’s AI technology and GPUs over the past year, with intentions to invest an additional USD 10 million in the upcoming year.
In a statement, Ramprakash Ramamoorthy, Director of AI at Zoho Corporation, said, “Many LLMs on the market today are designed for consumer use, offering limited value for businesses. At Zoho, our mission is to develop LLMs tailored specifically for a wide range of business use cases. Owning our entire tech stack, with products spanning various business functions, allows us to integrate the essential element that makes AI truly effective: context.”
Tech Mahindra announced the establishment of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) powered by Nvidia technologies, designed to advance sovereign LLM frameworks and agentic AI. By utilizing Nvidia’s AI Enterprise software platform—including Nvidia NeMo, Nvidia NIM microservices, and Nvidia RAPIDS—the CoE will offer customised, enterprise-grade AI applications to enhance productivity in various sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, and banking. The initiative includes Project Indus 2.0, an advanced AI model that focuses on supporting Hindi and its dialects, aimed at addressing the diverse linguistic needs within India.
“At Tech Mahindra, we are redefining the boundaries of AI innovation. Collaborating with Nvidia, we are setting a new benchmark for enterprise-grade AI development by seamlessly integrating GenAI, industrial AI and sovereign large language models into the heart of global enterprises and industries,” Atul Soneja, Chief Operating Officer, Tech Mahindra said.
