IT player Mphasis has made two key leadership appointments to support its executive team. Aravind Viswanathan has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately, following the resignation of Manish Dugar.
Viswanathan, who previously served as CFO at Tanla Platforms, has spent nearly two decades at Wipro. “As Mphasis continues to build momentum with their new-gen tech-driven growth strategy, I will be focused and committed on delivering on our short- and longer-term financial objectives.”
In addition, Mphasis has recommended the appointment of Girish Paranjpe as an Independent Director, effective 1 October 2024. Paranjpe, a co-promoter of Exfinity Venture Partners and former Joint CEO of Wipro’s IT business, brings over 35 years of experience in the technology sector.
His appointment is expected to add significant value to Mphasis as it navigates the evolving global business landscape.
“We are excited to have Mr. Paranjpe on our Board. His varied experience and track record of driving transformation will add tremendous value to our company,” said Nitin Rakesh, CEO and Managing Director at Mphasis.
