Japanese luxury carmaker Lexus unveiled its third hybrid electric vehicle in India – the Lexus NX 300h on Friday (17 November).
The Lexus NX 300h will be available in India in two variants – Luxury, and F Sport. While NX 300h Luxury will most probably be priced at Rs 59, 50,000, the NX 300h F Sport might come at a cost of Rs 61, 91,000.
The original prices and other retail details of the compact luxury SUVs will be announced by January 2018.
Lexus entered Indian market in March 2017.
The Lexus NX300h’s LED triple-projector-beam headlamps, front and rear fascias, new LED tail lamps, and panoramic roof are just one of the many details that set NX apart.
The 360° panoramic surround view monitor, which uses four high-definition cameras to simulate a top-down view of the vehicle, spins to show surrounding vehicles, pedestrians, and obstacles, and includes position projections to demonstrate the vehicle's path at slow speed.
The BS-VI compliant Lexus NX300h, with its all-wheel drive, has a 2,494cc 2.5 litre, 4-cylinder in-line engine, which produces 145 KW max power, delivering an ARAI certified mileage of 18.32 kmpl. It accelerates from 0-100 km/hr in 9.2 seconds.
It measures 4,640mm X 2,130mm X 1,645mm, with 2,660mm of wheelbase, 475 litres of boot capacity, and 56 litres of fuel tank capacity.
Some more features of NX300h include first kick-sensor-activated power rear door, first-in-class power-folding and power-reclining rear seats, Mark Levinson system with ClariFi technology featuring 14 speakers, and 10.3-inch split-screen multimedia display.
Safety features include 8 airbags, ABS + vehicle stability control and an anti-theft system.

Lexus NX 300h Luxury
It will be available in nine exterior colours – Sonic Quartz, Mercury Gray Mica, Platinum Silver Metallic, Sonic Titanium, Black, Graphite Black Glass Flake, Red Mica Crystal Shine, Amber Crystal Shine, and Sparkling Meteor Metallic.
What is exclusive to NX 300h Luxury are the rear seat switches, which are located both in the luggage space and the driver's-side instrument panel. At the touch of this button, the rear seats can be reclined, folded flat or brought back upright.
Lexus NX 300h F Sport
It comes with an option of 11 exterior colours – White Nova Glass Flake, Sonic Quartz, Mercury Gray Mica, Platinum Silver Metallic, Sonic Titanium, Black, Graphite Black Glass Flake, Red Mica Crystal Shine, Lava Orange Crystal Shine, Heat Blue Contrast Layering, and Sparkling Meteor Metallic.
What is exclusive to NX 300h F Sport are distinct F Sport design grille and aluminium wheels, sport seats, perforated finish, and Naguri-style ornamentation.
