Lenovo has introduced the Legion Tab, an 8.8-inch QHD+ Android gaming tablet, to the Indian market. Designed to cater to gamers that constantly move between devices, the Legion Tab is positioned to improve the gaming experience on both PC and mobile platforms.
Ashish Sikka, Director and Category Head at Lenovo India, spoke about the launch, emphasising the company's desire to diversify its gaming product line. The Legion Tab intends to provide a high-performance experience in a portable form factor.
The Legion Tab includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor and 12GB of LPDDR5X memory. It includes 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD. The gadget has Lenovo's Legion ColdFront thermal technology, which helps to regulate heat during extended gaming sessions. It provides three performance modes, namely- Beast Mode, Balanced Mode and Energy Saving Mode.
The tablet features USB Type-C, Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, a 6550mAh battery and charging bypass for gaming. USB Type-C ports enable DisplayPort 1.4 for external display connectivity.
The tablet's 8.8-inch display offers a QHD+ resolution (2560x1600 pixels), 144Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness. It also includes inbuilt haptics for better feedback during gameplay. The Legion Tab supports Lenovo Freestyle, allowing it to connect to other Lenovo Legion devices for a more seamless gaming experience. The Lenovo Legion Tab will be available for Rs 39,999 from 15 August, 2024.
