Lenovo Launches K8 Smartphone With 4,000mAh Battery At Rs 10,499

Lenovo after the launch of its flagship smartphones K8 Note and K8 Plus launched new smartphone K8 in India. Priced at Rs 10,499, the new smartphone will be available through offline channels only. The handset is available in venom black and fine gold body shades.

K8 Plus runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and powered by 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio P20 Octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM. It has 32GB internal storage which is expandable through a microSD card.

K8 Plus features a 5.2-inch FHD (1280x720) IPS display with 2.5 D curved glass. The smartphone sports a dual camera setup similar to K8 Plus with 13-megapixels Purecel sensor and 5-megapixels depth sensor. On the front is an 8-megapixels selfie camera with party flash and pro mode.

Lenovo K8 Plus is backed by a 4000mAh non-removable battery which the company claims can last for 1.5 days. Below the rear camera, there is a fingerprint sensor which unlocks the device. Just like the K8 Note and K8 Plus, this smartphone also comes with a dedicated music key for multi-functionality.

Connectivity options are – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, Dual nano SIM, micro USB, 3.5mm audio-jack, and GPS/A-GPS. The handset measures 147.9 x 73.7 x 8.55 and weighs 165 grams.

Lenovo now has three smartphones in the K8 series- K8, K8 Plus, and K8 Note.
