Laxmmi Bomb Trailer Released: Audiences Overwhelmingly Await The Akshay Kumar Starrer
The versatile actor in the virtual conference spoke up to the media openly and shared his views on playing a challenging character, he said, “In my career of 30 years, this is my most mentally intense role. It has been that tough. I’ve never experienced something like this before. The credit goes to my director, Lawrence sir. He introduced me to a version of myself which I didn’t know existed.”
The Khiladi of bollywood, on the announcement of the movie’s release date revealed, “Horror-comedy is my favourite genre. I had done Bhool Bhulaiyaa before this one. I had heard this story many years ago and I always wanted to make this film. It was like my passion project, but it kept getting delayed for one reason or the other.”
However, through the trailer, it is quite evident that the movie is made with an intention to highlight the stereotypical transgender community and at the same time trying to balance the story with some situational comedy and songs. Oh yes! The trailer got a whooping 5 million plus viewers response in just a matter of a few hours!
A Raghava Lawrence direction, the film is all set to hit the screens virtually on November 9 on Disney+ Hotstar. With Akshay Kumar as a sari-clad ghost, the movie spins around his character being overpowered by a spirit and he eventually starts behaving like one. The movie also stars Kiara Advani in the lead role along with Tusshar Kapoor, Sharad Kelkar, Tarun Arora and Ashwini Kalsekar.
Laxmmi Bomb, believed to be the remake of the old Tamil franchise Kanchana is expecting a huge market share and people definitely are excited for this Diwali Dhamaka! Taking to his Instagram, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Iss Diwali aapke gharon mein “laxmmi” ke saath ek dhamakedar “bomb” bhi aayega. Aa rahi hai #LaxmmiBomb 9th November ko, only on @disneyplushotstarvip!
