India Kawasaki Motors has launched its new 2018 adventure touring motorcycle Kawasaki Versys-X 300 in the country for Rs 460,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
In Chakan, Pune plant of India Kawasaki Motors this newly launched Versys-X 300 will be assembled. The booking for Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is open at the company’s dealerships across India.
India Kawasaki Motors, apart from the newly launched Versys-X 300, has another 300 in its product portfolio - the Kawasaki Ninja 300.

New 2018 Kawasaki Versys-X 300
Its belongs to Kawasaki’s adventure touring motorcycle series which also include 2018 Versys 650, and 2016 Versys 1000.
The Versys-X 300 features 296cc Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke Parallel Twin, DOHC, 8 valves engine, which produces 29.3kW of maximum power at 11,500rpm and peak torque of 25.7Nm at 10,000 rpm. It is mated to a six speed transmission.
With a wheelbase of 1,450mm, ground clearance of 180mm, and seat height of 815mm, the Kawasaki Versys-X 300 overall measures 2,170mm X 940mm X 1,390mm.
Its heat management technology comes to the rescue of the rider when stuck in heavy traffic. Large openings in the fairing promote airflow when riding to help dissipate engine heat.
Patented radiator fan cover located behind the radiator directs hot air down and away from the rider. Redirecting the air also helps keep the tank, frame and other parts that contact the rider cooler.
New 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 300
It belongs to Kawasaki’s sports motorcycle series which has Ninja 650, Ninja 1000, Ninja ZX-10RR, Ninja H2R, Ninja H2 Carbon, Ninja H2, Ninja ZX-14R, and Ninja ZX-10R.
Just as the Versys-X 300, Ninja 300 also features the same engine, mated to a six speed transmission. However, it produces 29kW of maximum power at 11,000rpm and peak torque of 27Nm at 10,000 rpm.
With a wheelbase of 1,405mm, ground clearance of 140mm, and seat height of 785mm, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 overall measures 2,015mm X 715mm X 1,110mm.
The new Ninja 300 shares numerous styling cues and design elements from other machines in the Ninja family. Like the Ninja ZX-10R,the new Ninja 300 uses a floating-style windscreen with a gap between the cowl and the windscreen.
Fin design and large ventilation holes in the fairing have a design similar to that of the Ninja ZX14R. Just like the other machines in the Ninja series, it features a new gmass-forward, minimalist-tail design.
With regard to technology, Ninja 300's clutch uses two types of cams (an assist cam and a slipper cam). Similar to the Ninja ZX-10R and Ninja ZX-6R, dual throttle valves give control of intake air, resulting in linear throttle response across the rpm range.
