Jamboree Education, India’s premier institute for GMAT preparation and admissions counselling, recently attended the PGP for Young Leaders Conclave at the Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad.
As an institution that supports thousands of students each year in pursuing top-tier business schools, Jamboree is excited about the program’s potential to shape future leaders in management and entrepreneurship. “ISB’s PGP YL is a groundbreaking addition to the MBA landscape, offering students early access to high-calibre business education right after graduation,” said Aryama Dutta Saikia, CEO, Jamboree Education.
The newly launched Post Graduate Programme for Young Leaders (PGP YL) is a 20-month, full-time, residential management programme based at ISB’s Hyderabad campus. This MBA-equivalent program caters to high-potential fresh graduates and professionals with up to two years of experience.
One of the standout features is ISB’s distinguished visiting faculty teaching PGP YL. It includes 270+ academic and world-renowned scholars bringing global perspectives on complex problems and their solutions. Imagine taking a finance lecture with India’s 17th Chief Economic Advisor and Executive Director at the IMF, Prof. K. V. Subramanian. Or walking in a class on Managing Complexity by Dr. Edward Rogers, who draws from his 17 years of experience as NASA’s Chief Knowledge Officer (CKO).
The inaugural PGP YL cohort will include 140 students, all based at ISB’s Hyderabad campus. To maintain resource balance across ISB’s campuses, 140 PGP students will shift to the Mohali campus, balancing the student body at approximately 560 students per campus. Admissions for the PGP YL will require scores from the GMAT, GRE, or current-year CAT exams, ensuring applicants meet ISB’s rigorous academic and analytical benchmarks.
The program fee for the academic year 2025-27 is INR 21,65,000 plus 18% GST, and the accommodation fee is INR 3,95,000. This includes admission fees, commitment fees, tuition, course material, stay on campus and ISB Alumni Service.
Sowmya Shashidhara, Director PGP YL at ISB, outlined how the program offers several merit-based and merit-cum-need scholarships of up to 100%. Further, ISB announced the Develop India Scholarship, designed to support India’s growth and development by empowering graduates to pursue impactful careers.
The conclave also covered expected placement outcomes for PGP YL graduates, with the program’s projected ROI aligning closely with ISB’s track record of placing PGP graduates at an average annual salary of INR 35 lakhs. While exact figures for the YL program cannot yet be projected, early estimates suggest a potential INR 25-28 lakh starting salary. Amit Tyagi, Associate Director, ISB, stated that PGP YL students will have access to the same recruiters as their flagship PGP.
Each year, many Jamboree students are accepted into ISB’s prestigious programs. Now, with the launch of the PGP YL, Jamboree sees greater opportunities for students to join ISB earlier in their careers, gaining an educational and entrepreneurial experience aligned with global MBA standards.
“We witnessed a start-to-scale incubation ecosystem for entrepreneurship that ISB offers its students, which is on par with top B-Schools globally. We are excited to share this with our students who have an entrepreneurial appetite,” said Aryama Dutta Saikia, CEO, Jamboree Education.
The recently released PitchBook Annual University Rankings 2023 has ranked ISB #1 in India and #20 globally. Along with a rich legacy of producing industry leaders, ISB has incubated unicorns such as Boat, Upgrad, and Cardekho at its premier campus.
