iQOO has released the iQOO Z9 Lite 5G, the latest edition to their Z series. This new smartphone, aimed for first-time 5G users, features a strong CPU, a stylish design and a Sony main camera.
The iQOO Z9 Lite 5G is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 6300 5G Mobile Platform. The 8-core CPU design, based on 6nm manufacturing technology, produces an outstanding AnTuTu score of over 414K+, indicating flawless multitasking, lag-free gaming and smooth app navigation, as per the brand. The smartphone supports dual SIM 5G with VoNR and 8 5G bands, delivering reliable 5G connectivity and future-ready technologies. The tablet also has 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB and 4GB or 6GB RAM, with a further 6GB of extended RAM.
The smartphone also has a 6.56-inch display with TÜV certification for minimal blue light emissions and a maximum brightness of 840 nits in High Brightness Mode, ensuring visibility in a variety of lighting settings. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate and a 120Hz touch sampling rate to provide a seamless user experience. The smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh battery and comes with a charger, allowing for extended use. The 15W charging method allows for quick recharging while preserving over 80 per cent battery health after four years of usage.
The phone features a dual-camera arrangement with a 50MP Sony AI primary camera and a 2MP bokeh camera, as well as an 8MP front camera for selfies. The camera system offers Night mode, Portrait mode, Panorama, Slo-mo and Time-lapse. The phone's design has an IP64 grade for dust and water protection. According to the company, it has passed extensive testing, including over 10,000 moderate height drop tests and pressure tests with a load capacity of up to 30 kg, assuring it can endure everyday obstacles.
The device runs Funtouch OS 14, which is based on Android 14 and guarantees two years of Android upgrades and three years of security updates. The smartphone has features including an app retainer for rapid restoration of background apps and improved privacy measures. It has a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and e-compass, as well as a variety of connection choices such as 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 5, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm audio connector.
The iQOO Z9 Lite 5G is available in two colours which are aqua flow and mocha brown. It costs Rs 10,499 for the 4GB+128GB model and Rs 11,499 for the 6GB+128GB variant. The smartphone will be available on the iQOO e-store and Amazon.in beginning 15 July 2024 at 12 noon.
