India continues to face border threats from both China and Pakistan, with tensions persisting at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and the Line of Control (LOC). The Indian Army maintains strict vigilance, responding decisively to every provocation. By the end of this month, India is set to receive the first of two guided-missile warships built in Russia, following delays due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
As reported by the Times of India, the 4,000-ton warship, currently stationed at the Yantar Shipyard in Kaliningrad, Russia, is being inspected by over 200 Indian sailors and officers. It is expected to be handed over to India by month’s end and will then be commissioned as INS Tushil by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The ship should arrive in India by early December, with a second warship expected early next year.
These new additions to the Indian Navy, both equipped with BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles and advanced weaponry, are anticipated to significantly heighten pressure on neighbouring countries.
