IIM Lucknow
It will be difficult to find a better environment to learn and excel in. The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM-L) campus is spread over 185 acres spread and provides its students and faculty tranquil surroundings at Prabandh Nagar, on the outskirts of Lucknow. The environment is not only an incentive for academic progress, but also gives students an opportunity to unwind and pursue a variety of extracurricular activity.
IIM-L is also probably the first IIM to have taken the lead in establishing a satellite campus at Noida in the National Capital Region. The new campus has a full-time dedicated pool of teachers and both students and faculty live on campus. The campus has been developed as a centre of excellence in the area of executive education. “It is our way of contributing to the industry and realising its vision to remain at the forefront of management thinking and education,” informs a spokesperson at IIM-L.
Admission
IIM-L has a broad programme structure. There are three courses offered under the Post Graduate Programmes—the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management which is a two year full-time course for fresh graduates, and a PGP in Agribusiness Management, a two-year, full-time residential course designed for those who want to pursue careers in agribusiness or entrepreneurship. It also has a Post-Graduate Programme (PGP) in Sustainable Management (PGP-SM), a two year full time residential programme conducted at IIM-L’s Noida campus. The PGP-SM is a unique programme designed to help candidates recognise the interconnections between economic performance of business and social and environmental systems.
Apart from these flagship programmes, the IIM Lucknow campus conducts various programmes pertaining to management education, for instance, a Working Manager’s Programme, and a Fellow Programme in Management, which is a doctoral level programme. It also offers customised executive education programmes which are tailormade to the requirement of the client organisations. Some of the organisations who have participated in this course are Axis Bank,ONGC, Power Grid Corporation, Reliance Industries, Indian Railway Traffic Services, Indian Revenue Services, Indian Statistical Services, LIC and Metlife.

The International Programme in Management for Executives (IPMX) is a full time residential programme for mid-career professionals who want to equip themselves with the latest tools and strategic management techniques. Other programmes at the campus are the same as offered at IIM-Lucknow campus.
The faculty of IIM-Lucknow is composed of distinguished and experienced professors from various walks of life. All of them have a common goal — to nurture the talent of their students and to guide them along the path of true knowledge.
