Established in 1973, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B) is one of the world’s best management institutes with supreme infrastructure, excellence in teaching and research.
IIM-B has recently topped the list of the best management institutes in the ‘India Ranking 2016’ — the first-ever national ranking of universities by the government. The ‘India Ranking 2016’, prepared by MHRD’s National Institutional Ranking Framework, rated IIM-B as the ‘Best Management Institute’ in India. All centrally funded institutions, including central universities, IITs and IIMs, participated in the ranking.
In the recent Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2016, IIM-B jumped seven positions to be at the 19th position in the world, where it has been feature alongside top management institutes such as London Business School, Harvard School of Business, and University of Oxford.
IIM-Bangalore offers courses such as Fellow Programme in Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Management, Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy & Management, Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management, Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management and Executive Education Programme.
IIM-B believes in being at par with the global best practices, and thus, undertakes several initiatives to collaborate with international bodies in various capacities. It has engagement with international networks, such as the Global Network for Advanced Management, which includes 28 top management schools around the world. This exclusive network is convened by Yale University, INSEAD, London School of Economics, and Fudan University, among others.

The IIM-B faculty routinely publish their research work in leading academic journals with high citation index and impact factor. The NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning is a well-known incubation centre for early age startups.
