Hyundai Motor Company is most likely going to reveal its all-electric sedan Hyundai Ioniq at the upcoming Auto Expo 2018, to be held from 9-14 February at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida.
Hyundai’s this move is keeping in mind with Indian government’s aims to make the country an all electric vehicle nation by 2030.
Hyundai Ioniq electric, which is only sold in California, will compete with Toyota Prius, Toyota Camry Hybrid and Honda Accord Hybrid in India.
Recently during LA Auto Show, Hyundai Motor Company unveiled its 2018 Ioniq electric that was a carryover from its 2017 model.

Hyundai Ioniq Electric's 28kWh Lithium-ion polymer battery gives out a maximum power of 88kW and peak torque of 295Nm. The sedan measures 4,470mm X 1,820mm X 1,460mm, with 455L of luggage capacity that can be maximised up to 1,410L.
Ioniq Electric is offered in seven exterior colour options - Polar White, Platinum Silver, Aurora Silver, Phantom Black, Blazing Yellow, Marina Blue, and Phoenix Orange.
Talking about its design, Ioniq Electric's LED headlamps improve nighttime vision with higher light output. Its dynamically styled headlamps are integrated into the grille panel, which also conceals the Advanced Smart Cruise Control (ASCC) radar sensor for safety.
Located behind the single flap on the left rear flank are both the Standard charge port, and the Quick charge port that can charge up to 80 per cent in only 23 minutes, claims the company.
Hyundai Ioniq Electric offers a host of safety features - lane keeping assist system (LKAS), blind spot detection (BSD), autonomous emergency braking (AEB), smart cruise control (SCC), and 7-airbag system.
Convenience wise, Ioniq Electric has wireless mobile phone charging system, 220V portable charging cable, integrated memory seat (IMS), electric parking brake (EPB), engine start and stop button, and rear air ventilation.
