Just few days ahead of Renault Captur launch, its closest rival Hyundai Creta has been introduced in new variants and few other cosmetic tweaks.
Hyundai Motor India Limited has silently presented its highest selling compact SUV Hyundai Creta in new ‘Earth Brown’ dual-tone colour, and the roof has been painted black in select variants.
The South Korean automaker has discontinued the pearl beige and red passion with phantom black paint options of Hyundai Creta.
So, now apart from newly introduced Earth Brown colour, Hyundai Creta will be available in six other paint schemes – Sleek Silver, Polar White, Stardust, Red Passion, Phantom Black, and Mystic Blue.
On the inside, Creta gets new Luxure Brown interiors. Creta dual tone comes with beige seat fabric with brown inserts and contrast stitching.
Priced at Rs 929,000, it is obvious that Hyundai Motor India Limited is trying to woo the consumers with these new offerings to tackle Renault Captur.
From technical aspect, Hyundai Creta did not receive any changes. It carries the same 1.6L petrol and 1.4L diesel engines, all mated to 6-speed transmission.
Launched in 2015, the compact SUV has sold 9,292 units in September 2017 and was the second largest selling utility vehicle in the country for the said month.
