Honda Activa Only Two-Wheeler Brand In India To Cross 20 Lakh Sales Mark in 7 Months
India’s best-selling scooter Honda Activa, by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, is now the only two-wheeler brand in the country to cross 20 lakh unit sales in 7 months.
While it took 7 years since its launch (2001 to 2008) for Honda Activa to reach 20 lakh sales milestone, the latest 20 lakh customers (2,040,134 unit sales) have joined in 7 months from April to October 2017.
The information was shared by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India in an official statement released on Thursday (23 November).
Honda Activa sales have nearly tripled from 7.3 lakh units in 2012-13 to over 20 lakh units in 2017-18.
In India, the scooter is available in three variants – Honda Activa I, Honda Activa 4G, and Honda Activa 125.
