We have now started catering to the needs of CAT & JEE aspirants. On our platform, aspirants can compare themselves among thousands of students independently while accessing great content, peer learning, and feedback methods. JEE and CAT students have already started helping each other on Gradeup by sharing doubts, providing solutions, and sharing good content."
Within the first three weeks of the launch, the new modules have been downloaded by over 50,000 students with the total user base (for Gradeup app) crossing 16 lakh users across 190+ cities. On an average an user spends approximately 30 minutes on Gradeup per day.
After the launch of CAT and JEE online modules, the number of daily registrations on Gradeup has shot up by over 20 per cent. Gradeup has received a huge number of registrations from Delhi, Maharashtra, Kolkata, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat, with more aspirants expected to join the e-community over the next few months.
Every year, lakhs of candidates attempt both the Common Admission Test (CAT) and the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). They join coaching institutes to prepare for these exams and the size of the batches, which are usually in hundreds, making it difficult for a lot of students to personalize the experience as per their learning needs.
Gradeup mentors make an active attempt to keep the study material well structured, while maintaining the focus on engagement and assessment.
Shobhit Bhatnagar, CEO & Co-founder of Gradeup, said, "We believe that education is the most fundamental form of empowerment and that technology has the potential to shape education in India (in terms of democratization and personalization of learning). The online learning model is already a huge disruptive force in today's education system. Not only does it overcome geographical challenges and brings the best of mentors and content to the students in a more economical manner, but also delivers value alongside targeted learning outcomes. Addition of the engineering and management courses in the exam preparation category in Gradeup has the potential to benefit millions of aspirants."
Gradeup has been instrumental in bridging the gap between aspirants and mentors by offering students opportunities to learn and clear their doubts anytime, anywhere. The application is designed as a place where aspirants can connect to each other, access study material, connect with mentors, and get their doubts cleared instantly. It also helps students stay updated on exam notifications and general updates, and hence reduce their dependence on coaching.
