Digital engineering firm GlobalLogic has inaugurated a new delivery centre in Hyderabad, with plans to create up to 2,000 jobs over the next three years.
The expansion move is the company’s continued growth in the Asia-Pacific region, as it strengthens its engineering capabilities to serve global clients across multiple sectors, including technology, healthcare, automotive and banking.
The new 38,000-square-foot facility will initially house 600 engineers, with the workforce expected to expand significantly in the coming years. GlobalLogic’s recruitment drive will focus on attracting talent in key areas such as software engineering, data analytics, cloud computing, and emerging technologies like generative AI. The company is eager to tap into Hyderabad’s vast talent pool, which has become a hub for digital innovation and engineering excellence.
The opening of the Hyderabad delivery centre also follows GlobalLogic’s recent acquisition of Mobiveil, a semiconductor design services company. As part of this expansion, many former Mobiveil employees will be integrated into the new center, further strengthening GlobalLogic’s capabilities in digital engineering.
“We are excited about leveraging Hyderabad city’s strengths to enhance our engineering capabilities across various sectors. The new centre will enable us to expand our team, allowing us to meet the increasing demands of our global clients while solidifying Hyderabad’s role in our Global Capability Centre (GCC) strategy,” said Piyush Jha, Managing Director and Head of APAC at GlobalLogic.
“Our recruitment efforts will target talent with expertise in software engineering, data analytics, cloud computing, and other new-age technologies, particularly in GenAI. With Hyderabad’s talented workforce and supportive environment, we are well-equipped to foster engineering innovation and deliver enhanced solutions across our global operations,” he added.
