Gigabyte Unveils AI TOP, Local AI Training Solution At CES 2024

Gigabyte, a computer hardware manufacturer, presented AI TOP, a new solution designed to facilitate local AI model training, at a pre-COMPUTEX 2024 event. AI TOP embodies the company's vision of "Train Your Own AI on Your Desk," aiming to democratise access to AI training for individuals and businesses.

This initiative follows the release of the Gigabyte AI PC at CES 2024, solidifying the company's commitment to the generative AI space.

Additionally, the AI TOP solution encompasses three key components: AI TOP Utility, AI TOP Hardware and AI TOP Tutor. The Utility is a user-friendly software suite that supports training large language models with up to 236 billion parameters while prioritising data privacy and security. AI TOP Hardware offers a flexible and upgradable alternative to cloud-based training solutions.

It functions within standard electrical systems, eliminating the need for expensive electrical upgrades. In addition, AI TOP Tutor provides comprehensive training and technical support, making the system accessible for both beginners and experienced users.

Gigabyte AI TOP hardware leverages a range of the company's existing products, including motherboards, graphics cards, solid-state drives and power supply units. A highlight of the event was the unveiling of the Radeon PRO W7900 AI TOP 48G and Radeon PRO W7800 32G graphics cards. This positions Gigabyte as the first and only professional graphics card partner for AMD's Radeon PRO series.
