Genpact has opened a new office in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, which is anticipated to generate up to 5,000 jobs for local talent over the next five years.
India plays an important role in Genpact's AI-driven strategy, with 70 per cent of its global workforce located in the country. The establishment of the Jodhpur office is a key milestone in the company's ongoing efforts to build a diverse talent pipeline, complementing the successful openings of facilities in Madurai and Warangal last year.
This expansion is expected to enhance Genpact’s operations across vital sectors, including finance, healthcare, and banking.
The Jodhpur hub is expected to be instrumental in delivering advanced technologies and AI solutions on a global scale. Genpact's said its investment in this region is part of a broader initiative to tap into larger, more varied talent pools throughout India.
Alongside job creation, the new facility will also provide skill development opportunities for local professionals, the company said.
“By drawing on Jodhpur’s rich talent pool, we’re not only expanding our operations but also positioning ourselves to deliver cutting-edge AI and digital transformation services to clients worldwide,” said Piyush Mehta, CHRO and Country Manager, India, Genpact. “This new facility underscores our commitment to fostering innovation and creating meaningful economic impact.”
