Genpact, a leading global professional services firm, has inaugurated a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) Innovation Centre in Gurugram, India, marking a significant enhancement in its AI-first approach to business solutions.
The company announced today that this centre will serve as a nexus for AI-driven innovation, empowering its workforce and providing its global clients with pioneering, growth-oriented solutions.
The AI Innovation Centre is designed to offer Genpact’s experts and their clients a collaborative space to develop and refine business strategies using AI technologies. This initiative comes on the heels of Genpact's opening of its first AI Innovation Center in London last year, with plans to expand this network across the globe in the coming months.
Piyush Mehta, Genpact’s CHRO and Country Manager for India, stressed the transformative impact of the center, stating, "The work we do today will transform how work gets done tomorrow.” He highlighted the company's commitment to leveraging its extensive partner ecosystem and its deep pool of talented employees to foster a culture of innovation and co-creation.
The establishment of the center aligns with India’s accelerated push towards becoming an AI-first nation, supported by the Indian government’s launch of a USD 1.2 billion IndiaAI mission. This national initiative aims to promote AI literacy, support the creation of research centers, and establish a responsible framework for AI utilisation.
Genpact’s new facility is set to democratize access to AI technology, while simultaneously developing a reservoir of world-class AI talent within India. The center will facilitate collaboration with industry leaders and organisations such as NASSCOM, further nurturing the AI ecosystem in the country.
