Lakshay Jain, a young serial entrepreneur who started out his life in Chandigarh, has become a shining example of what determination, creativity, and innovation can achieve in the modern era. Born on January 30, 2004, in Chandigarh, Lakshay’s entrepreneurial journey began at an age when most kids were just learning the ropes of academics.
Lakshay completed his schooling at Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh, where his academic journey laid the foundation. Even as a student, Lakshay displayed an insatiable curiosity about technology, for which the school wrote a blog post titled ‘Lakshay Jain—Gurukul Global School’s IT Prodigy’.
At just 7, he taught himself the basics of web development, and by 10, he started his first freelance project—quite an early age to be a freelancer.
At 16, Lakshay launched his first major venture, Mevrex - a full-stack marketing agency that would later grow to serve clients in over 30 countries. The agency has collaborated with industry leaders and national entities.
In 2023, he expanded his horizons further by founding Mascan, a Delaware-based digital media holding company. Mascan specialises in acquiring and scaling digital media assets, with its platforms reaching over 100 million users every month.
Despite achieving extraordinary global success, he remains deeply connected to his roots which we saw from his recent interviews.
In a recent LinkedIn post, Lakshay shared his journey, starting as a coder at the age of 7 and earning the title of "Visionary Disruptor" from a prominent U.S. news channel by the age of 20.
