Data centre and cloud player ESDS Software Solution has said it intends to develop an AI-powered autonomous cloud platform. To support this project, ESDS is set to hire 300 AI and machine learning engineers over the next six months.
The new hires will be distributed across ESDS’s offices in Nashik, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Mohali, which will support the existing workforce of over 1,100 employees.
The company serves a diverse client base, including Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), SIDBI Bank, Union Bank of India, State Bank of India Capital, over 400 cooperative banks, Embassy Group, Vadilal and Unibic.
By leveraging AI and machine learning, the new autonomous cloud platform will offer enterprises seamless management of their IT environments, enabling automatic data growth, vertical and horizontal autoscaling, operating system management, and application management.
In a statement, Piyush Somani, Founder and CEO of ESDS, said, “Today's cloud infrastructure often requires manual intervention for deployment and management. An autonomous cloud platform powered by AI could revolutionise this process. Users could simply select an architecture, deploy it, and then let the system handle everything else. This platform will enable automatic data growth, vertical and horizontal autoscaling, operating system management, and application management.”
