Chinese firm Coolpad on Friday (4 August) launched its latest smartphone Coolpad ‘Note 5 Lite C’ in India. Priced at Rs. 7,777, the device is Coolpad’s first product to be available through offline channels. It comes in grey and gold colours.
The handset will go on sale from 5 August at 3000 multi-brand stores across 8 states – Delhi NCR, Haryana, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra.
Coolpad Note 5 Lite C runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and powered by Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor coupled with 2GB RAM. It has 16GB internal storage which is expandable up to 64GB through MicroSD card.
Coolpad Note 5 Lite C features a 5-inch HD (1280x720) display. It sports an 8-megapixels rear camera with f/2.4 aperture and on the front is a 5-megapixels selfie-camera with f/2.4 aperture.
The handset measures 142.4x70.4x7.95mm and weigh 139 grams. Coolpad Note 5 Lite 5 C is backed by a 2500 mAh battery. There is a fingerprint sensor below the rear camera which unlocks it. Connectivity options are – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G VoLTE, micro USB, 3.5mm audio-jack and GPS.
Coolpad Note 5 Lite C will face competition with the likes of Redmi 4A, Samsung Galaxy On 5 Pro, and Lenovo Vibe K5, and Moto C Plus among others.
