Central Board of Secondary Education announced class 12th board results on 28 May, 2017 after the Delhi High court order to continue with the grace marks policy for this year. Raksha Gopal from Amity School, Noida was the topper with 99.6 percent marks.
Indian School Certificate (ISC) board declared results on 29th May, 2017 with Ananya Maity from Kolkata scoring 99.5 percent to score the highest marks in the board. Girls have outscored boys again in terms of highest marks scored and overall pass percentage.

The ISC board has made available a 'DigiLocker' facility using which the students will be able to get digitally signed statement of marks and certificates. The CBSE board will also look to discontinue grace marks policy which could affect the percentage of students from next year.
