1. Smartness More Important Than Intelligence – In CAT, each question carries 3 marks and there is negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. So, picking the right questions will definitely help you in getting admission in a good business school.

2. Make Your Concepts Clear – Aspirants of CAT exam are tested on basis of quantitative ability, verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning. Mere memorizing calculations and formulas won’t help; you have you make your concepts clear. So, first make your base right.

3. Improve Your Concentration Power – This skill derives its logic from the previous skill. Looking at a computer for three long hours with focusing on questions that tests your logical reasoning is not an easy task. It’s important to work on your concentration power. 

Moreover, you will have exactly 60 minutes for answering each section (comprising of both MSQ and non-MCQ questions). Reading every question carefully and answering it correctly is a test of your smartness, intelligence as well as your concentration power.
