Cantabil Retail India, a leading Indian apparel manufacturer and retailer, announced its Q2 FY25 financial results, showcasing a strong performance with a 12 per cent year-over-year growth in revenue. The company reported quarterly revenue of Rs 151.2 crore and a net profit of Rs 6.6 crore.
For the six months ending September 30, 2024, Cantabil reported a revenue growth of 13 per cent to Rs 279.1 crore, with a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 18 crore. Ebitda for the six-month period rose by 16 per cent to Rs 73.9 crore.
Cantabil has expanded its national footprint by opening 23 new exclusive retail stores in various states, including Gujarat, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, bringing its total to over 550 stores.
“We’re pleased to report strong growth in H1 FY25, with a 29.4 per cent increase in volume despite challenging market conditions, such as a North India heatwave and extended monsoon,” said Vijay Bansal, Chairman & Managing Director of Cantabil Retail India Ltd. “Our focus remains on customer convenience, market expansion, and enhancing the shopping experience.”
With expectations of increased discretionary spending due to a strong monsoon, festive season, and the wedding season, Cantabil anticipates further demand growth. The company plans to continue its aggressive expansion strategy to reinforce its presence in India’s fashion apparel sector, capitalising on emerging market opportunities.
