The prestigious BW Education Super 30 Top Education Brands Awards & Summit 2023 brought together visionaries, educators, and leaders in the field of education for a day of recognition, discussion and celebration.
The event marked a significant milestone in the world of education, recognizing outstanding contributions, innovations, and leadership in various categories.
The summit, organized by BW Education, aimed to acknowledge and applaud the quality of education in India by uniting institutional leaders and regulators. It served as a platform for thought-provoking discussions, insights, and strategies on how to leverage technology, effective management tools, and educational strategies to create world-class educational institutions. The event celebrated the best education brands in the country and provided an opportunity for networking and collaboration among over 200 leaders from the education and edutech space.
The summit featured an array of distinguished speakers and panellists who shared their expertise on vital topics such as 'Making 21st Century Education Accessible to Every Student,' 'Expanding the Boundaries of Higher Education Skills and Employability,' 'The Importance of Early Years Development in Children,' and more. These discussions shed light on the transformative power of education and its impact on society.
The Process
Over 180 nominations from across India were received for the awards, reflecting the diversity and excellence in the education sector. The shortlisted 61 nominees were presented before the esteemed jury, resulting in the selection of deserving winners who were felicitated during the award night.

The winners were selected through a rigorous assessment and performance review by an eminent jury comprising Dr (Mrs) Pankaj Mittal, Secretary General, Association of Indian Universities (AIU); Dr Ram Kumar Kakani, Director, Indian Institute of Management – Raipur; Dr Biswajit Saha, Director - Skill Education & Training, Central Board of Secondary Education; Dr Ranjana Kumari, Director, Central Board of Secondary Education; Dr Annurag Batra, Chairman & Editor-in-Chief, BW Businessworld & Founder, exchange4media.
Winners
The 'BW Education Super 30 Top Education Brands Awards 2023' celebrated and recognized outstanding contributions and innovations in the field of education across various categories. In the Pre-School category, Khushboo Singh, Founder & Director of Oakvalley International Preschool & Daycare, and Jitendra Karsan, Chairman of Safari Kid India, were awarded for their innovation in curriculum for preschools. Arpita Sur, CEO of Kid-O Education Pvt Ltd, received the accolade for Leading Preschool of India, while Seshasai KVS, CEO of Preschools at Eurokids Lighthouse Learning, was recognized as the Preschool Franchisor of the Year.
In the K-12 (School) category, Abishek Kumar Yadav, Founder Chairman & Academic Director of Griffins International School, and Kanwaljeet Khungar, Principal of Bharat National Public School, were honored for Academic Excellence in K-12 education. Nishchint Chawla, President of Vedanya International School, was awarded as the Emerging School of India, while Dr. Chaitra Harsha, CEO of National Public School – ITPL, and Pascal Chazot, Honorary Head of School at Mahatma Gandhi International School, were recognized for their schools' innovation. Nidhi Tewari, Principal of DLF QEC Innovative School Ridge Valley, also received an award.
The K-12 (School) category further acknowledged leaders and institutions, with awards like Leading Residential Schools in India, K12 Education Group of the Year, and School of the Year. Notable awardees included Sunny Varkey, Chairman of GEMS Education, India; Dr. Amita Chauhan, Chairperson of Amity International Schools; Reekrit Serai, Managing Director of Satluj School; and Sonya Ghandy Mehta, School Director of Pathways World School, Gurgaon.
In the Higher Education category, Prof (Dr) VC Vivekanandan, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of Hidayatullah National Law University, was recognized as the Emerging Higher Education Institution in India. Dr. V Srividya, Director of PSG Institute of Management, and Dr. Raman Batra, Executive Vice President of Noida Institute of Engineering & Technology, received awards for Excellence and Innovation in Management and Institutions with Excellent Training and Placements, respectively. Prateek Shukla, CEO of Masai School, was also acknowledged in this category. Other awards included Institutions with Innovative Infrastructure & Learning Environment, Leading University of India, and Leading Skills University of India, presented to Prof Dr B Sendilkumar, Dr Madhu Chtikara, and Siddharth Chaturvedi, respectively.
In the Ed-Tech category, various awards recognized excellence in online tutoring, game-based learning, and innovative technology solutions for schools. Alakh Pandey & Prateek Maheshwari, Founders & CEOs of Physics Wallah, were honoured as the Best E-Learning/Online Tutoring Company of the Year, alongside Mohan Lakhamraju, Hari Krishnan Nair, and Arjun Nair, Co-Founders of Great Learning. Ujjwal Singh, President & CEO of Infinity Learn by Sri Chaitanya, was recognized for his contributions. Debajyoti Dash, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Mighty Me was awarded Game Based Learning Company of the Year.
Apoorav Nischal, MD and Country Head India of PowerSchool, and Abhijeet Mukherjee, CEO of Zamit, were acknowledged for their Innovative Technology Solutions for Schools. Samaresh Shah, Founder & CEO of White Canvas India, received the STEM Education Solution of the Year award, while Arpit Badjatya, Founder, CEO & MD of Academia by Serosoft, was recognized for the Best Education ERP of the Year. Ujjwal Singh, President & CEO of Infinity Learn by Sri Chaitanya, received the EdTech CEO of the Year award. These awards celebrated the outstanding achievements and contributions of education leaders and innovators in India's education landscape.
