Boult has introduced the CruiseCam X5 Pro, a latest device in vehicle technology. This dashcam is designed to enhance in-car safety and convenience by incorporating technologies suited specifically to Indian driving conditions.
The CruiseCam X5 Pro has a dual-camera system, which includes an 8MP front-facing camera capable of capturing Real 4K video and a 2MP rear-facing camera capable of 1080p Full HD resolution. The front camera's integration with the Sony Starvis IMX415 sensor provides a suitable quality of footage even in low-light circumstances. The dashcam's 140-degree ultra-wide field of vision (FOV) provides a complete view of the road, considerably increasing vehicle security.
"Our objective is to improve the driving experience by designing products that blend functionality, dependability, and new features. The CruiseCam X5 Pro sets new standards in vehicle surveillance and safety technology, providing drivers with increased security and peace of mind on the road," said Varun Gupta, Co-founder of Boult on the product’s release.
The device also has a 3-inch display for simple navigation, GPS logging for precise location monitoring and in-app controls for video management and live streaming. The dashcam's collision detection and G-sensor functions instantly enable emergency video recording to capture critical evidence during unexpected occurrences.
Boult claims that the dashcam offers longevity and performance in severe temperatures. It accepts SD cards rated Class 10, U3 and V30 for versatile storage options and is available at a price of Rs 12,999.
